Mandatory Equipment
WHY IS MANDATORY EQUIPMENT REQUIRED?
It should be emphasized that the mandatory equipment imposed by the organizer corresponds to the bare minimum that every trail runner will then have to adapt according to their own individual characteristics.
You must carry the mandatory equipment with you throughout the entire race - from start to finish - otherwise you will be penalized. Race officials may check your equipment at any time during the race.
Do not forget that the required equipment includes an essential list of basic items that every trail runner must adapt according to their own abilities. We strongly recommend testing it during training in different conditions and carrying with you everything necessary.
In the case of a discrepancy between the different language versions of the regulations, the Italian version shall prevail.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
PLEASE NOTE:
Runners should bring their own cups, plates, and cutlery, as none will be provided at aid stations.
Additional kits required depending on weather conditions: Depending on weather conditions, the organisation may require additional mandatory equipment, and each participant will be informed prior to the start of the race.
Hiking poles : If a runner chooses to take hiking poles, they must carry them for the entire duration of the race. It is forbidden to start without poles and get them during the course of the race.
No poles are authorized in the spare bags. For safety or environmental reasons, poles are forbidden in certain zones along the route. These areas are marked by specific signs.
Music : Listening to music using earphones only, is tolerated, so long as it is safe to do so. Any earphones MUST be removed when crossing any roads, as well as on approach to, and whist at, any checkpoints and when approaching and passing any Safety members.
