In accordance with our regulations, race bibs are neither refundable nor transferable to another person, event, or future edition. To help you plan for any unforeseen circumstances, we offer the services of our partner Xplorassur, which specializes in cancellation insurance for sporting events.

Your partner for unexpected situations

Our partner, Xplorassur offers to all our runners the possibility to suscribe to a cancellation insurance , an essential solution for those who want to protect themselves against unforeseen circumstances before an event or trip.

This insurance covers the costs incurred in case an unexpected situation prevents the participant from attending the event or honoring their commitment.

Unpredictable situations, such as health issues, accidents, last-minute professional obligations, or urgent family events, can arise and make it impossible to participate in the planned event.

Cancellation insurance helps protect participants financially by reimbursing non-refundable expenses, such as registration fees.

Please note that refund requests are not handled by the event organizers. All matters related to cancellation are managed exclusively by our partner Xplorassur, according to their terms and conditions.

Rescue insurance

Search and rescue operations can be complex and costly, particularly in remote or difficult-to-reach locations.

Whether it involves airlifting a participant from a dangerous area or mobilizing emergency teams for a rescue mission, the expenses can quickly add up.

Evacuation, which may involve transportation to the nearest medical facility or safe location, can also incur substantial costs.

Therefore, it is mandatory for all participants to have an insurance policy that explicitly covers these types of situations. Without adequate coverage, the participant may be personally responsible for any emergency costs, which could be financially devastating.

Participants are advised to verify that their insurance policy meets these requirements before the event and ensure that it provides comprehensive coverage for search, rescue, and evacuation.

Rapatriation insurance by UTMB

UTMB Group has set up, with a private insurance company, a repatriation insurance to help you in your practice of Trail Running but not only._

For 49€ / year, you can subscribe to an insurance that guarantees you a worldwide coverage for your rescue, repatriation, and medical care expenses (including helicopter rescue) in the context of your trail running practice whether it is for training, competitions or even for your reconnaissance outings.
