Costa Verde Trail

A short 10 km trail weaving through the ancient pine forest of Castellaneta Marina, among fossil dunes that hold thousands of years of geological history and the golden sand of a Blue Flag coastline. Along the horizon, ancient watchtowers still stand, built centuries ago to protect this coast from Saracen raids.

A gentle rise and fall among the dunes, shaded by pine trees, leads you towards the Ionian Sea, in a corner of Puglia where nature and history are woven into every step.
