Castellaneta Undeground Trail
The city of the legendary silent film star Rudolph Valentino will be the starting point for the 50km race with a 1000m elevation gain. You will also become an ACTOR in this mythical trail that will lead you to discover underground caves, rock churches, the ancient Appian Way, and centuries-old olive trees. Amidst hedges of Mediterranean aromas and lush pine forests, you will arrive at the sea of the Gulf of Taranto, crossing the finish line right by the shore at Castellaneta Marina
